PROM 2013 May 4, 2013

My baby sister’s SENIOR PROM!!! It’s the last dance that I’ll be doing her hair and make-up and designing and making her dress.  This prom Tammy redesigned a simple black halter dress from Express.

Tammy added all the green accents to the dress to make the dress unsymmetrical.  She also cut a slit thigh high to make it trendy and easier to walk. No help from big sis this prom.  She’s all grown up and becoming less dependent on me.  It’s one of those happy yet sad moments.

I had the honor to be the second shooter for Shaina and Danny’s wedding at the Double Tree Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles.

My most favorite picture is the first one of my top ten. I was very touched at the symbolism of the lei left for Shaina’s mom.

My new boyfriend October 1, 2012

My new love. I love the way he sounds when I push all the right buttons on him. He has an amazing body.
He’s always there with me during the most eventful moments in my life. He is my +1.
I love the way I can hold him in my hand on my hikes in the morning.
I love how I can bring him around my son.
His name is Mark. He comes from a very respectable well known family. His last name is Canon.
I love him so much that I want to spoil him and buy him more outfits and accessories. He’d look good with a 85mm f/1.2 on his body.

After taking 2 years off to get pregnant and raising the best thing that ever happened to me, I’m back!
I’ve relocated my office to be closer to home and my son.

ALTERATION SHOP MADE IT IN THE NEWSPAPER! July 7, 2010

Today on Wednesday July 7,2010 my mom and Miklan Design Alteration shop made it in the local newspaper!
It’s been a crazy wedding season for her with all the custom-made bridesmaids dresses and wedding dresses. I think this is going to make it even crazier.

DVVC – Liturgical for Fr. John Nghi Trans Farewell June 30, 2010

While I was coordinating a wedding on Saturday, my clone aka my sister Tina handled everything for me at the church.  I was sad that I was not able to attend his final mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish.

Fr. John Nghi Tran has been at our parish for longer than I can remember.  He is the official sponsor of www.VietCatholic.net and our dance group.  We are very sad to see him leave. 

Here is a video of our dance girls performing a liturgical dance at Fr. John Nghi’s last mass at OLA on Saturday.  They pulled past and present dancers to make this happen.  Old dancers from college and new dancers got together for this graceful liturgical performance.  DVVC wishes him all the best at his new assignment in Catalina.

JULIE & STEVE – PALOS VERDES GOLF COURSE – BUTTERFLY THEMED WEDDING June 29, 2010

AFTER THE WEDDING

This weekend one of our All Made Up Team make-up artist Julie, tied the knot in Palos Verdes.  It was a beautiful wedding on a beautiful day.  I’ll be posting about it as soon as I get some pictures from my La Soiree Production affiliate photographer Peter of Icons Photography.
